There are many different types of camshaft, for different vehicle uses:

• Phase 1 Power Band: 2000 – 5750 RPM (Good tickover for road use - 1.4 injection engine)

• Phase 2 Power Band: 2500 – 6500 RPM (for use with twin carbs or throttle bodies - not std injection)

• Phase 3 Power Band: 3000 – 7500 RPM (Good high rpm power - not for std injection)

• Phase 4 Power Band: 4000 – 8000 RPM (Powerful high rpm cam - not for std injection)

Round Tooth Camshaft Pulley for Vauxhall 1.3 & 1.6 8v SV engines.

Cat Cams adjustable pulleys are made of top quality 7075 aluminium. In addition, the outer wheel is hard anodised for wear resistance.

For easy and secure dyno testing, the nonius system lets you advance or retard your camshaft exactly per 1° over a range of +/- 10° (cam degrees).

Moving the Pin (supplied) from hole to hole indexes the pulley 1 cam degree at a time for fast, easy cam timing adjustment.
