M-Tech Chassis Strengthening Kit - Corsa B Type 2 / Tigra
The weakest points of the Corsa and Tigra are the connection points between the front crossmember and the left and right chassis legs. The two front tiebar brackets are mounted at this point. These tiebar brackets transmit high forces into the chassis during braking and accelerating, especially when a more powerful engine and bigger brakes are fitted to the car.
M-Tech has developed a chassis strengthening kit to strengthen the bodywork at these critical points. The kit consists of 6 strengthening plates, laser-cut from 5mm thick steel, which are welded into place. A good fitting guide is included.
This kit is suitable for the Tigra A and Body Type 2 Corsa B, i.e. originally with power steering or a multi-valve, i.e. 12v or 16v
